Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning, social development, and emotional well-being for young children. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual learning needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive behaviour management techniques to promote respectful interactions.
- Support children's social and emotional development through guidance, encouragement, and modelling appropriate behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, achievements, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational resources and organise classroom activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's development, maintaining accurate records of progress and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
Qualifications
- recognised qualification in early childhood education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching or caring for young children in a classroom or similar environment.
- Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Organised, patient, and adaptable with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
