Tapovan Sanskarpith is inspired by the divine blessings of Yugpradhan Acharyasam Panyas Pravar Shree Chandrashekhar Vijayji Maharaj Saheb and is dedicated to the principles of Dharma Raksha, Rashtra Raksha, and Sanskruti Raksha. Under the guidance of Guruji and the Trustees, and with the blessings of Guruma, the institution serves over 450 students and focuses on providing holistic, quality education rooted in Indian culture and values.

Role Overview
We are looking for more than just a Librarian. We need a passionate, creative individual who can transform the library into a living learning hub, a space that sparks curiosity, fosters a love for reading, and actively supports the holistic growth of every child. This role is based at our new CBSE school and is a unique opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Library Management
- Organize, catalog, and maintain the library collection (books, periodicals, digital resources)
- Maintain accurate records of book issues, returns, and inventory
- Ensure the library is a clean, welcoming, and well-organized space at all times
Reading Culture & Student Engagement
- Design and run creative reading programs, storytelling sessions, and book clubs for students
- Collaborate with class teachers to integrate library activities into the curriculum
- Organize events like Book Fairs, Author Talks, Reading Challenges, and Literary Fests
- Curate themed reading corners and displays to inspire independent reading
Out-of-the-Box Initiatives
- Launch innovative student-led projects such as mini-publishing, book reviews, or classroom newsletters
- Introduce digital literacy tools — e-books, audiobooks, and research databases
- Develop a rewards and recognition system to motivate avid readers
- Build a parent-child reading program to extend the reading culture beyond school
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain library budget, procurement of new titles, and vendor coordination
- Prepare periodic reports on library usage and student engagement
- Suggest and implement improvements to library systems and processes
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a school library
- Proficiency in library management software
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic computer skills
- Fluency in English, Gujarati & Hindi.
