About the Role
- As a Junior Video Editor, you will work closely with our Creative, Marketing, and Academic Teams to produce engaging content across educational, branding, and digital marketing initiatives.
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that reach thousands of learners while developing valuable industry skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and build a strong foundation in professional video editing.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Post-Production
- Edit high-quality video content for educational programs, social media campaigns, advertisements, and brand communications.
- Transform raw footage into engaging and polished final videos.
- Create short-form content including Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Add text animations, transitions, subtitles, background music, and visual enhancements.
- Ensure all content aligns with CandleSkill's visual identity and quality standards.
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with content creators, educators, designers, and marketing professionals.
- Participate in creative discussions and contribute fresh ideas.
- Support content production initiatives across multiple platforms.
Content Optimization
- Adapt content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Maintain organized project files and editing workflows.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in digital content and video storytelling.

Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of video editing principles and storytelling.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following tools:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- Filmora
- CapCut (Professional Usage)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Video formatting
- Audio synchronization
- Social media content creation
- Visual composition and pacing
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Experience Requirement
- No prior professional experience is mandatory.
- Freshers, recent graduates, freelance creators, YouTubers, interns, and self-taught editors are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with personal projects, academic work, portfolios, or sample edits will be given preference.
