Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Warehouse Accountant to manage warehouse-related accounting operations, inventory reconciliation, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry (preferrable), consumer goods sector, or a CA firm, with strong knowledge of inventory accounting, stock verification, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor warehouse accounting records and inventory transactions.
- Perform daily stock reconciliation between physical stock and ERP/system records.
- Verify inward and outward material entries, invoices, GRNs, and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams for smooth operational flow.
- Ensure proper accounting of inventory, damaged goods, shortages, and returns.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of inventory-related reports.
- Conduct periodic physical stock audits and support internal/external audits.
- Track and reconcile vendor invoices, transportation expenses, and warehouse-related costs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Identify discrepancies and support corrective actions for inventory variances.
- Support implementation and adherence to process controls and SOPs.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of inventory accounting and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Busy, or similar).
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
- Additional certification in accounting or taxation will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in FMCG, consumer goods industry, warehouse accounting, or a CA firm.
- Experience handling inventory accounting and warehouse reconciliation activities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and stock management processes preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
