Job Summary
Step Up School is seeking a qualified and passionate PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students of Grades XI & XII. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for CBSE board examinations through engaging and technology-driven instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to senior secondary students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Deliver interactive and engaging classroom sessions.
- Teach programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Data Structures, and related topics.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions and ensure effective lab management.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain academic records and classroom discipline.
- Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), MCA, M.Tech (Computer Science/IT), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school will be preferred.
