Architech Labs is seeking a motivated PCB Design Intern to join our hardware engineering team in Gurugram. This internship provides hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic hardware for smart home and building automation products.
The selected candidate will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects involving PCB design, hardware validation, prototype development, and product manufacturing. You will gain exposure to the complete hardware development lifecycle while contributing to innovative automation and IoT solutions used in residential and commercial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design PCB schematics and layouts using KiCad and EasyEDA.
- Develop multilayer PCB designs with attention to signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
- Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Generate Gerber files, BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support component selection, circuit analysis, and design reviews.
- Conduct prototype testing, validation, and hardware bring-up.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product engineering teams.
- Assist with enclosure design and hardware integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with academic, personal, or industrial PCB projects.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, UART, I2C, SPI, or CAN protocols is a plus.
