Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web pages while collaborating with the marketing and development teams to enhance the company's digital presence. This internship offers hands-on experience in website design, UI/UX principles, and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and update responsive web pages and landing pages for the company website.
- Create website layouts, banners, icons, and other web graphics.
- Assist in improving website UI/UX for better user engagement and navigation.
- Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to implement design updates.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and optimized across different browsers and devices.
- Edit and optimize images, graphics, and multimedia content for web use.
- Support website maintenance, content updates, and design improvements.
- Research current web design trends, UI/UX best practices, and competitor websites.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, and visual elements across digital platforms.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Canva, or Illustrator.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript is an added advantage.
- Creative thinking with a strong eye for design, typography, and color.
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Eligibility
- Graduates or related fields.
- Passion for web design, UI/UX, and digital creativity.
- A portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or personal web design projects will be an added advantage.
