Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with a strong background in Data Engineering and enterprise data platform delivery to lead a large-scale Microsoft Fabric data acquisition and operationalization program.
The role will focus on accelerating onboarding of enterprise data into Microsoft Fabric Bronze and Silver layers through scalable squad-based delivery models. The ideal candidate will combine strong delivery leadership with technical understanding of modern cloud data architectures, data acquisition patterns, governance frameworks, and enterprise-scale program execution.
This role requires close coordination with Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Data Modelers, Governance teams, QA teams, and business domain stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain functions.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating in an architect-led delivery environment focused on platform operationalization, ingestion acceleration, and scalable enterprise onboarding.
Responsibilities:

Leadership & Execution:

Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Microsoft Fabric onboarding and data acquisition, managing concurrent streams for ERP systems and domain data products

Orchestrate squad-based execution across Bronze and Silver layers, utilizing scalable operating models for onshore and offshore distributed teams

Own the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure predictable outcomes and SLA adherence

Establish delivery governance, KPIs, and reporting cadences to provide executive transparency and maintain platform stability

Microsoft Fabric Platform Delivery:
-
Direct data onboarding into Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake environments, ensuring alignment with Medallion Architecture principles

Standardize ingestion patterns and reusable frameworks to drive scalable delivery practices and platform readiness for AI and downstream analytics

Manage technical dependencies across Architects, Engineers, and QA teams to streamline cross-functional delivery

Stakeholder & Governance Management:

Enforce governance standards for metadata, lineage, and ownership across all onboarding streams to ensure data quality and compliance

Mitigate delivery risks and manage complex escalations through effective cross-functional coordination and operational consistency
Requirements:

Proven experience managing enterprise-scale Data Engineering or Cloud Data Platform programs

Strong understanding of modern Data Engineering lifecycle and enterprise data platform architectures

Experience delivering cloud-based data acquisition, onboarding, and operationalization initiatives

Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture concepts (Bronze / Silver / Gold)

Experience managing Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Experience managing distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
