The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities for a group of properties or business units within a specific geographical cluster. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and enhance brand presence across all assigned properties. The Cluster Sales Manager will lead and mentor a sales team, foster strong client relationships, and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities. - Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and action plans for the assigned cluster of properties to maximize revenue and market share.
- Set ambitious sales targets for each property within the cluster and monitor performance against these targets, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals across multiple locations, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to sales best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and leisure segments, to drive incremental revenue for all properties.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, travel agencies, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with General Managers, Revenue Managers, and Marketing teams of each property to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring cost-effective sales operations and optimal resource allocation.
- Represent the cluster properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote services and generate leads.
- Implement and manage CRM systems to track sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy and utilization for strategic decision-making.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Analyze sales data and generate insightful reports on sales performance, market conditions, and future forecasts.
