We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Staff member to assist with the daily operations of the bakery. The ideal candidate will help prepare bakery products, maintain cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate bakery products as instructed.
- Assist in mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and operating bakery equipment.
- Pack, label, and display bakery items attractively.
- Monitor product freshness and remove expired or damaged items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery, workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company quality standards.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing bakery ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with product recommendations.
- Support order preparation for walk-in, online, and bulk orders.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food hygiene practices.
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
