We're looking for a Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications used by millions of users. You'll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship features end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices
- Debug and resolve production issues, including crash and ANR analysis
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for Android releases
- Stay current with Android platform updates, Play Store policies, and ecosystem trends
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional experience building and shipping Android applications
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java is a plus
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or the Android View system
- Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with Jetpack libraries (Room, ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation, WorkManager)
- Familiarity with Play Store submission and release processes
- Experience with unit/instrumentation testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD tools
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDK integrations
- Strong debugging and performance profiling skills (Android Profiler)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in an agile team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous/reactive programming
- Exposure to modular app architecture and multi-module projects
- Experience with push notifications, deep linking, or payment integrations
- Familiarity with accessibility standards on Android
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
