A Senior Accountant manages daily accounting operations, prepares financial reports (monthly/yearly), reconciles accounts, and ensures tax compliance (GST, TDS). - Reconciliations: Bank, vendor ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Compliance & Tax: Managing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS, and TCS compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and budgets.
- General Ledger: Maintaining and reviewing journal entries and fixed assets.
- Supervision: Training junior accountants and reviewing their work.
Typical Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (often a CPA or CA is preferred).
- Experience: 3–10 years of accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
Typical Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: Accounting Manager, Finance Director, or Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
