Role Objective
We are looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our design and engineering team. You will be responsible for converting conceptual architectural and engineering ideas into high-quality 2D/3D technical drawings. Your work will be pivotal in the planning and execution of our upcoming villa projects and residential layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and site layouts using AutoCAD.
- Project Documentation: Create precise "As-Built" drawings and modify existing blueprints based on site requirements or design changes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with BMRDA, BDA, or KSPCB guidelines and other local building codes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Architects, Civil Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure design feasibility and structural integrity.
- Layout Planning: Assist in the master planning of large residential townships, including road networks, drainage systems, and electrical layouts.
- 3D Visualization: (Preferred) Develop 3D models or basic renderings to help stakeholders visualize villa projects like JR One East.
- Data Management: Maintain an organized digital library of all project drawings, revisions, and technical specifications.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, B.E. (Civil), or a certified course in Architectural Drafting.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is a significant advantage.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and real estate project lifecycles.
- Detailing: High precision in dimensioning, labeling, and following standardized layering conventions.
Preferred Attributes
- Previous experience with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 real estate developer in Bangalore.
- Ability to interpret hand-sketched ideas and translate them into technical drafts quickly.
- Good communication skills to coordinate between the design studio and on-site execution teams.
- Residing in or willing to commute to South/East Bangalore.
