seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Professor of DVL to join our clinical faculty. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between advanced clinical dermatology and high-quality medical education, providing expert care to patients while mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Lead outpatient departments (OPD), perform dermatological examinations, and manage Venereology and Leprosy cases with high clinical standards.
- Procedural Proficiency: Oversee and perform minor dermatological procedures (e.g., biopsies, chemical peels, lasers, electrocautery) and supervise residents in these tasks.
- Academic Teaching: Conduct clinical postings, ward rounds, case discussions, and didactic lectures for MBBS and post-graduate students.
- Mentorship: Supervise postgraduate thesis work and guide residents in research and clinical documentation.
- NMC Compliance: Ensure all clinical and academic activities adhere strictly to the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with an MD/DNB in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy (DVL) from a recognized medical institution.
- Experience: Teaching experience in a recognized medical college is preferred. Fresh post-graduates meeting NMC eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC) is mandatory.
- Skills: Expertise in both clinical dermatology and aesthetic/procedural skills; excellent communication skills for patient management and student interaction.
Pay: Up to ₹125,000.00 per month
