Our Client is a pioneer in the field of industrial power electronics and battery charging systems. With over four decades of expertise, we specialize in providing customized power solutions, including DC systems, rectifiers, and EV charging infrastructure for core sectors like Power Generation, Transmission, and Oil & Gas.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, maintaining quality and safety standards, and leading a team of Production Engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workmen. This role requires strong leadership, production planning, and process improvement capabilities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning: Plan, monitor, and execute daily production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines and production targets.
Team Management: Lead, supervise, and mentor Production Engineers, supervisors, technicians, and shop floor personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity.
Production Oversight: Oversee the structural and electrical assembly of power panels, rectifiers, battery chargers, DC systems, and other industrial electrical products.
Resource Optimization: Efficiently manage manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime and production losses.
Shop Floor Safety: Ensure strict adherence to industrial safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and disciplined 5S working environment.
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve production-related technical issues by coordinating with the Design and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Workflow Improvement: Identify production bottlenecks and implement Lean Manufacturing practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and throughput.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications while minimizing rework and rejection.
Reporting: Monitor production performance, prepare production reports, and provide regular updates on productivity, efficiency, and operational improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 6–10 years of experience in production/manufacturing, with proven experience in leading production teams.
Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of production planning, fabrication, electrical assembly, wiring, and manufacturing processes.
Leadership: Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop production teams.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to resolve production challenges efficiently.
Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented manufacturing environment.
