Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) Expert / Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and containerized applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering. This role will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms that support enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Implement Kubernetes best practices, including networking, ingress, service mesh, autoscaling, and cluster security.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and Kubernetes-related issues.
- Implement logging and monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, governance, and cost optimization across Azure environments.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams to improve platform reliability and deployment efficiency.
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.

Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
- Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, AI/ML workloads, or data platform services.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of Multi-Cluster Kubernetes Management.
- Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes Operators.
- Understanding of FinOps and Azure Cost Optimization.
- Exposure to Azure Policy, Azure Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud or Multi-Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
