Project Context
This role is for a high-rise residential project in Kharadi, Pune, comprising premium RCC towers of 20+ storeys with a project value in the mid- to large-scale range (approx. INR 150–300 Cr). As an EPC contractor, Bala Infra is responsible for end-to-end delivery—from pre-construction planning and methodology, through structural works, MEP integration, and finishing, to handover—requiring tight control on time, cost, and quality. The technical scope includes high-rise RCC works using advanced/aluminium formwork systems, tower crane operations, concrete logistics, façade and finishing coordination, and integration of MEP services within constrained urban site conditions. You will work closely with internal planning and execution teams, client/PMC representatives, and structural/architectural/MEP consultants to resolve technical issues early and ensure constructible, efficient solutions for a multi-stakeholder, schedule-driven environment.
Role Summary
The Assistant Project Manager – High Rise will support the Project Manager in driving pre-construction planning, technical coordination, and early-stage site setup for high-rise residential towers. The role is critical in stabilizing site execution, optimizing construction methodology, and ensuring that schedules, resources, and quality standards are aligned before and during ramp-up. You will act as a key interface between design consultants, client/PMC, and site teams to de-risk execution and control rework, cost, and delays.
Key Responsibilities
- - Lead and coordinate pre-construction activities for high-rise RCC structures, including construction sequencing, methodology statements, temporary works planning, and constructability reviews.
- - Prepare, update, and monitor master schedules, detailed micro-schedules, and look-ahead plans using MS Project/Primavera, aligning resources, milestones, and critical paths with site realities.
- - Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP consultants for drawing finalization, RFIs, technical clarifications, and issue resolution to ensure construction-ready drawings are available on time.
- - Support quantity take-offs, basic cost analysis, and preparation of BOQs to assist procurement in finalizing subcontractors, major construction packages, and key materials in line with project budgets.
- - Work closely with site execution teams to set up and standardize site processes (planning, documentation, DPRs, checklists, method statements) and ensure adherence to quality and safety norms.
- - Facilitate coordination with client/PMC, vendors, and internal departments (planning, procurement, QA/QC, safety) and proactively identify and escalate risks related to time, cost, quality, and interfaces.
- - Monitor implementation of high-rise construction technologies (aluminium/advanced formwork, tower cranes, concrete logistics, vertical transportation) and support optimization for productivity and reduced rework.
