Job Description (JD) – GDA Trainer
Position Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA) Trainer
Centre: AISECT DDUKK, Hazaribagh
Location: Hazaribagh, Jharkhand
Reporting To: Centre Head / Project Coordinator
Role & Responsibilities
The GDA Trainer will be responsible for effective delivery of training under the DDUKK scheme in accordance with SSC and JSDMS common norms, ensuring quality training, trainee engagement, and placement readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct theory and practical classes for the General Duty Assistant (GDA) job role strictly as per SSC curriculum, NOS/QP, and JSDMS guidelines.
- Prepare and follow daily lesson plans, session plans, and training schedules as prescribed.
- Ensure 100% trainee attendance capture on the designated portal/system within the stipulated timeline.
- Maintain and update training registers, attendance records, batch files, and assessment-related documents.
- Motivate and counsel trainees for course completion, discipline, and placement readiness.
- Conduct internal assessments, mock tests, and revision sessions prior to final assessment.
- Coordinate with assessment agencies for smooth conduct of assessments and certification.
- Support placement activities including trainee mobilization for interviews, employer interaction, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with training quality standards, classroom discipline, and code of conduct.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and monitoring visits by JSDMS / SSC / University officials.
- Perform any other duties assigned related to training, assessment, or placement support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- GNM / ANM / B.Sc Nursing / Diploma or Degree in Health Care / Allied Health Sciences
- Or as prescribed by SSC norms for GDA Trainer
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of training or field experience in healthcare / nursing / caregiving
- Experience in skill development projects (DDUKK / PMKVY / JSDMS) will be preferred
- Certifications:
- SSC ToT / Trainer Certification (preferred or willingness to undergo ToT)
