We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President Product Owner - Subaccounting to join our Fund & Investor Solutions team. This role is located in Pune, India
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Contribute to shaping the future of Subaccounting by driving delivery of capabilities to support new product structures; to create operational scale; to manage business risk; and to improve end user experience and access to data.
- Apply knowledge of mutual funds, 529 plans, and other structured products and their impact on the financial intermediary and asset management marketplace to support new product development.
- Work directly with external and internal clients and stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and support solution design.
- Serve as Product Owner for specific features or workstreams, supporting the design and delivery of new capabilities, including expansion into new markets and product structures.
- Partner with cross‑functional engineering, product, and operations teams within an Agile framework to drive execution.
- Support market intelligence activities, competitor tracking, and go‑to‑market planning.
- Assist with regulatory and policymaker engagement by providing analysis and insights.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 5 plus years of financial services experience is required.
- Product Owner or Product Management background strongly preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to contribute to innovative product development.
- Transfer Agency or Subaccounting Fund Management/Operations experience is strongly preferred.
- Internal and/or external client‑facing experience is required.
- Funds industry experience a plus.
- Experience applying AI in product development or operations desirable.
- Background in Operations, Product, or Engineering roles in fund servicing a plus.
