" The data steward implements the product data life cycle maintenance for his/her division’s products in the SAP, PDH,EHSM tool. In this role the data steward will receive instructions from the Central Lead Data Stewards (located in Europe) and from the Manager – Data Management (located in Pondicherry).
The Product Data Steward will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Eaton’s Product master data and thereby support the implementation of the balanced scorecard for the divisions of Eaton’s Electrical Sector EMEA.

"Compliance - Specific
Involves in master data maintenance, compliance tracking, reporting, and coordination with Stewardship and business teams.
Ensure accuracy of material classification, compliance attributes, and country-specific regulatory requirements.
Execute Compliance evaluations within the system based on divisional product management guidelines.
Initiate corrective actions from evaluation results, particularly data maintenance aligned with the EMEA Compliance (EPR+Chemical Complaince) standard.
Support divisions in data maintenance for new products and assist with backlog resolution projects.
Utilize data quality tools to assess and improve data accuracy and harmonization.
Provide Excel spreadsheets or similar tools to support subject matter experts in assigning items to EPR Compliance and chemical compliance(REACH-ROHS).
Assess the products in EHSM tool , validate the REACH, ROHS regulations and ensure with Eaton standards
Focus on DQ and MDM Scorecards to attain & sustain the overall data quality of Compliance metric for ES-EMEA
DQC-Specific
Evaluate and collaborate with Product Managers and Business stakeholders to improve the data quality & completeness for Product Master data Attributes.
Maintain updates as required by the business organizations (Product Line or Country Sales Organization).
Rollout scheduled master data analysis for ES-EMEA products
Drive Continues Improvement for this process.
Work with colleagues End2End cross systems to find the root cause in case of any issue reported."
