Job Title: Billing Executive
Position Summary
HBox is seeking a Billing Executive to manage claim submission for our US healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services. The role is responsible for submitting claims, resolving clearinghouse rejections, verifying insurance eligibility, and ensuring claims are accepted before they move to the Accounts Receivable (AR) team.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit medical claims through Office Ally using bulk upload and manual claim entry.
- Review and resolve clearinghouse claim rejections.
- Correct claim issues related to insurance policy/member ID, payer selection, demographics, subscriber information, and provider details.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility using Medicare, Availity, payer portals, IVR, and insurance representatives.
- Submit corrected claims and ensure timely acceptance by the clearinghouse.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client clinics to obtain missing or updated insurance information.
- Maintain accurate claim submission records and Excel trackers.
- Ensure claims are submitted within turnaround time while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Billing.
- Experience with Office Ally or similar claim clearinghouses.
- Knowledge of CMS-1500 claim submission and clearinghouse rejection management.
- Experience with insurance eligibility verification.
- Familiarity with Medicare, commercial insurance, Availity, and payer portals.
- Good understanding of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and US healthcare billing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience with physician billing.
- Experience in RPM, CCM, PCM, or RTM billing is an added advantage.
- Medical Billing/RCM certification is a plus.
