Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Microsoft Security Administrator (Level 3) to join our IT Security team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining our critical Microsoft security solutions and Trend Micro, with a particular focus on endpoint security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with at least three of the following technologies: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for cloud Apps, Microsoft Azure Information Protection, Trend Micro Vision One Antivirus, Trend Micro Server Protect Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. You will play a key role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organizational data and cloud services.
The Track Lead for Support & Operations will play a pivotal role in managing operational processes with a focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and meeting client SLAs. This position requires strong leadership to empower teams and ensure effective execution of support functions, driving enhancements that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and monitor Microsoft (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for cloud Apps, Azure Information Protection) and Trend Micro solution (TrendMicro Vision one, Trend Micro Server Protect) policies to protect sensitive data across endpoints, cloud apps, and services\r\nAdminister, configure, and monitor Microsoft (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for cloud Apps, Azure Information Protection) and TrendMicro Vision One, Trend Micro Server Protect policies to protect endpoints.\r\nImplement and maintain Microsoft (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for cloud Apps, Azure Information Protection), Trend Micro Vision One and Trend Micro Vision one policies.\r\nTroubleshoot, respond and investigate security incidents and alerts generated by TM Vision One, TM server Protect and Microsoft (MDE), escalating as necessary.\r\nPerform routine health checks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of assigned Trend Micro and Microsoft security platforms.\r\nCollaborate with security engineers and architects on the design and implementation of new security features and improvements.\r\nAssist in the creation and maintenance of documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and configuration guides.\r\nProvide support and guidance to junior resources for troubleshooting, data security best practices and policy adherence.\r\nParticipate in security audits and compliance activities related to data protection and cloud security.\r\nProvide support and guidance to end-users on data security best practices and policy adherence.
1. Optimize Symantec Endpoint Protection Systems By Analyzing Operational Data And Implementing Enhancements To Improve Management Reporting And Streamline Information Flow.
2. Collaborate With Clients To Understand Their Requirements And Ensure The Support Team Consistently Meets Or Exceeds Client Expectations Through Effective Problem Resolution.
3. Lead And Mentor The Project Team, Fostering Transparent Communication Of Project Goals And Facilitating A Culture Of Accountability And High Performance Within Symantec Edr Frameworks.
4. Drive Innovation By Proposing And Implementing New Ideas For Process Development, Utilizing Symantec Tools To Enhance Overall Organizational Efficiency And Effectiveness.
5. Develop Tailored Solutions Based On Customer Needs Using Symantec Endpoint Protection, Ensuring Alignment With The Operational Environment To Achieve Desired Business Outcomes.
Skill Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in Information Technology.\r\nAt least 4 years of hands-on experience (administration, configuration, monitoring) with any three of the following Microsoft security technologies: \r\nMicrosoft Defender for Endpoint\r\nMicrosoft Defender for cloud Apps\r\nMicrosoft Azure Information Protection\r\nTrend Micro Vision One\r\nTrend Micro Server Protect\r\n \r\nSolid understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles, concepts (e.g., least privilege, defense-in-depth), and common attack vectors.\r\nExperience with incident response processes.\r\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Protect / Administration\r\nEndpoint, Identity, Messaging & Cloud Apps Security Operations
