Key Responsibilities
- Design & Planning:
- Assist in conceptual and detailed design calculations.
- Prepare rough sketches, maps, and technical drawings.
- Help estimate project costs and budgets.
- Field Work & Site Visits:
- Conduct site surveys and data collection.
- Visit construction sites to observe progress and ensure quality.
- Assist with tracking material usage and contractor progress.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
- Maintain technical documentation and project records.
- Handle permit requests and review applications.
- Software & Technical Skills:
- Gain exposure to and apply CAD systems and other engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil3D).
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers and other team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
