About the Role:
We are looking for a target-driven B2B Travel Consultant to manage and grow a portfolio of allocated travel-agent accounts.
The role will be responsible for building strong relationships with assigned agencies, ensuring consistent business from the portfolio, understanding their requirements, and identifying opportunities to increase their business with us across our tours and travel products, including visas, holidays and related services.
The role will primarily focus on account management, relationship building, business growth and partner engagement, rather than new-agent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of allocated travel-agent and B2B partner accounts.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with assigned agencies and serve as their key point of contact.
* Understand the business profile, requirements and preferences of each assigned agency and identify opportunities to grow the account.
* Ensure that allocated agencies remain active and consistently generate business with the company.
* Proactively engage with agencies to drive repeat business, improve conversions and increase their overall business contribution.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant tours and travel products based on the agency’s requirements.
* Track account-wise business performance, identify gaps and take appropriate actions to improve account productivity.
* Liaise closely with the backend operations team to ensure smooth service delivery, timely resolution of issues and a positive experience for partner agencies.
* Coordinate with the outside sales team for periodic visits to allocated agencies, sharing account-level requirements, feedback, business opportunities and relationship insights to ensure effective field engagement.
* Act as a bridge between the partner agencies and internal teams, ensuring relevant feedback and requirements are communicated and followed through.
* Maintain accurate records of account interactions, enquiries, opportunities and business performance through the CRM.
* Monitor inactive or underperforming accounts and work on appropriate strategies to improve engagement and business contribution.
* Achieve monthly sales, revenue, margin and account-growth targets for the assigned portfolio.
* Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, pipeline, opportunities and key account developments.
Requirements:
* 2–5 years of experience in B2B travel sales, holiday sales, visa sales, ticketing or travel consultancy.
* Strong knowledge of travel, holiday and visa products.
* Experience working with travel agents, sub-agents, DMCs or corporate clients preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up and relationship-management skills.
* Proven ability to manage accounts, retain relationships and grow business from existing clients.
* Ability to identify cross-selling, upselling and revenue-growth opportunities.
* Target-oriented with good commercial understanding.
* Knowledge of CRM, MS Office/Google Workspace and travel portals.
Benefits:
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Paid sick time
