Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager – Operations will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the end-to-end execution of multiple projects across India from the Head Office. The role involves close coordination with site engineers, contractors, transporters, vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure timely mobilization of materials, manpower, and resources, enabling smooth project execution, timely completion, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Project Management
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day execution of multiple projects across sites.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and timelines.
- Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and resources.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure timely project execution.
Site Coordination
- Act as the primary coordination point between Head Office and project sites.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Procurement, Stores, Finance, and Logistics teams.
- Monitor site progress and resolve execution-related issues.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
- Plan and coordinate dispatches of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Track material movement and optimize logistics efficiency.
Vendor & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
- Resolve operational and service-related issues promptly.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare operational MIS reports and dashboards.
- Track project status, resource utilization, and operational KPIs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
Process Improvement
- Improve operational workflows and standardize processes across projects.
