CallHippo is a cloud-based business phone system that helps sales and support teams connect with customers across 100+ countries. We're looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team and help fuel our pipeline growth.
About the Role
As an SDR at CallHippo, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers. You'll identify, qualify, and nurture leads, setting the stage for our Account Executives to close deals. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to grow into a full-cycle sales or account management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and pain points
- Schedule product demos/meetings for the Account Executive team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce/etc.)
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generated
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine outreach strategy
- Stay informed about CallHippo's product offerings, competitors, and industry trends
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar lead generation role (SaaS experience preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and email outreach
- Strong ability to handle objections and rejection gracefully
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms is a plus
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and coachable
- Bachelor's degree preferred (not mandatory)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
