As an HVAC Application Engineer you bridge the gap between sales and technical design by selecting equipment, preparing cost estimates, and creating compliance submittals. Key duties include reviewing project specifications, sizing systems and supporting sales teams.
Core Responsibilities:
- Equipment Selection: Sizing and choosing optimal units (AHUs, FCUs, VRF, and package units) using manufacturer software.
- Technical Submittals: Preparing compliance statements, data sheets, and drawings for consultant and contractor approval.
- Estimation & Costing: Calculating project costs, drafting price quotations, and preparing order estimation sheets.
- Technical Support: Answering inquiries from MEP contractors and resolving consultant comments on submitted designs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Open to freshers who demonstrate good potential. 2 years of relevant HVAC or MEP industry experience recommended.
- Technical Skills: Strong grasp of heat load calculations, psychrometrics, and HVAC design software.
- Software Proficiency: Competence in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic CAD programs.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ashok Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
