Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support our site execution and project estimation teams. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day site operations across residential and commercial projects, ensure quality standards, and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material estimates, and cost sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Monitor day-to-day execution of civil and interior works on site, ensuring adherence to architectural drawings and safety standards.
- BOQ & Estimation: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates for structural and finishing works.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Measure work completed on site, verify subcontractor bills, and track material usage against BOQs.
- Quality & Progress Tracking: Conduct quality checks for materials/workmanship and maintain daily site progress reports (DPRs).
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and clients to resolve site queries and technical clashes promptly.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years in civil site execution for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in BOQ generation, rate analysis, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and reading structural/architectural drawings.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving skills, and site management ability.
