Job Description – Sr. SCM Executive
Position: Sr. SCM Executive
Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Location: Por GIDC, Vadodara
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
Salary: Up to ₹60,000 CTC per month
Reports To: Director
Certifications – Preferred
ERP/SAP, Advanced Excel or Lean Six Sigma certification will be preferred.
Job Purpose
To manage and optimize supply chain planning and coordination across internal departments and vendors, ensuring efficient material flow, optimum inventory levels and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production, material and dispatch plans based on customer requirements and production capacity.
- Plan raw material, inventory and manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Dispatch and outsource vendors for smooth execution of plans.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for production.
- Monitor production progress, order status, inventory levels and OTD performance.
- Review SCM and planning KPIs and identify deviations from the plan.
- Take corrective actions for production delays, material shortages and inventory issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, inventory turnover and supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reviews with cross-functional teams and monitor their performance.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of planning processes including Purchase, Production and Dispatch.
- Understanding of packing processes and supply chain flow.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of PPC/SCM processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
Experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) in a forging/manufacturing environment.
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
