Role Purpose
This role is responsible fordesigning scalable, secure, and future‑ready automation solutions across the enterprise. This role acts as thetechnical authority for automation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture, governance standards, and long‑term digital transformation goals.
The person will work closely withbusiness leaders, product teams, developers, and platform teams to translate complex requirements into robust automation and quality engineering architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Solution Design
- Defineend‑to‑end automation solution architecture encompassing:
- RPA
- Workflow automation (Power Platform)
- AI‑enabled / Agentic automation
- CreateHigh‑Level Designs (HLDs) and reviewLow‑Level Designs (LLDs) for automation initiatives
- Ensure solutions arescalable, reusable, secure, and compliant with enterprise standards
Automation Platform Strategy
- Own architecture standards for:
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot)
- RPA tools (UiPath / PAD or equivalent)
- Evaluate and recommendtools, accelerators, frameworks, and AI capabilities for Automation CoE growth
Quality Engineering Test Architecture
- DefineQuality Engineering architecture including:
- Shift‑left testing
- Automation pyramid strategy
- Test data environment strategy
- CI/CD and DevOps integration
- Partner with QE leads to driveengineering‑led quality transformation
Governance Standards
- Establish and enforce:
- Automation architecture standards
- Design templates reference architectures
- Security, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Participate inarchitecture reviews, design sign‑offs, and CoE governance forums
Stakeholder Delivery Collaboration
- Translate business problems intoautomation‑first, technology‑agnostic solutions
- Act as thetechnical bridge between business, delivery, and platform teams
- Support pre‑sales, feasibility, and ROI discussions for large automation initiatives
Innovation Thought Leadership
- Drive adoption ofAI, Copilot, autonomous agents, and intelligent test generation
- Buildreusable assets, accelerators, and blueprints
- Mentor leads, and senior engineers within Automation CoE
Key Skills Competencies
Must‑Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience insolution / technical architecture
- Strong expertise in:
- Enterprise automation workflow design
- RPA and low‑code platforms (Power Platform preferred)
- Experience designingenterprise‑scale, multi‑system automated solutions
- Strong understanding ofsecurity, compliance, and audit readiness
Good‑to‑Have
- Experience withAI/ML‑enabled automation
- Agentic AI, copilots, NLP‑based or decision automation
- Insurance / BFSI domain exposure
- Cloud architecture (Azure preferred)
- DevOps CI/CD pipeline integration
