About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain and verify purchase and sales records.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.
- Assist in payroll-related accounting and expense management.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely filing and maintenance of financial documents.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of GST portal and e-invoicing.
- Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance.
- CA/CS/CMA background or relevant certification would be an advantage.
