About the Role
We are looking for a confident and persuasive Business Development Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will receive warm, pre-qualified leads generated through our digital marketing efforts and convert them into paying clients. You won't be cold calling — your focus is purely on closing deals and delivering an outstanding sales experience for prospects who are already interested in what we offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond promptly to inbound leads generated through digital marketing channels
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and match them to the right service offering
- Present and pitch our digital services in a clear, compelling, and tailored way
- Guide prospects through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement
- Follow up with leads who require nurturing before making a decision
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and conversion rate goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and interactions in the CRM
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure a smooth client handover post-sale
- Provide feedback on lead quality and prospect objections to the marketing team
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales closing or client-facing sales role
- Strong ability to build trust and rapport quickly over calls or video meetings
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable selling digital services (e.g. video editing, content production, or similar)
- Target-driven with a competitive and self-motivated attitude
- Organized and disciplined in managing a pipeline of warm leads
- Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking and managing sales activity
Nice to Have
- Background or understanding of video production or creative services
- Experience working with inbound sales funnels or digital marketing-driven pipelines
- Knowledge of common sales methodologies (e.g. SPIN, Challenger, BANT)
