Hiring: Lead Recycling Plant Supervisor / Technical Consultant
Location: Kolkata, India (or as applicable)
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Recycling Plant Supervisor / Technical Consultant to assist in setting up and operating a world-class secondary lead recycling plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lead recycling production process from raw material receipt to finished lead ingots.
- Design, establish and optimize production processes for maximum recovery, quality and efficiency.
- Supervise plant commissioning, trial runs and production stabilization.
- Monitor furnace operations, refining, alloying, casting and dross management.
- Improve metal recovery while reducing production costs and losses.
- Implement best practices for environmental compliance, pollution control and worker safety.
- Develop SOPs, quality control procedures and production documentation.
- Train production personnel and establish operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot process issues and recommend continuous improvements.
- Assist in achieving international quality standards and, preferably, guide the plant towards LME-grade lead production.
Desired Experience
- 10–20+ years of hands-on experience in lead recycling or secondary lead smelting.
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Rotary furnaces
- Short rotary furnaces
- Blast furnaces (preferred)
- Refining processes
- Alloy production
- Battery breaking operations
- Pollution control systems
- Slag and dross treatment
- Yield optimization
- Energy efficiency
- Plant commissioning
- Experience with large-scale lead recycling plants is highly preferred.
- Candidates who have worked with internationally recognized lead recycling companies will be given preference.
