Key Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the E&I Lead / Technical Lead at the project level.
Take ownership of discipline deliverables, ensuring effective, timely, and high‑quality output.
Prepare and develop a wide range of electrical drawings and schematics, including but not limited to:
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Earthing and Lightning Protection layouts
Lighting layouts
Area Classification drawings
Power, Lighting & Cable Tray layouts
Electrical plans, details, and schedules
General application and installation drawings of electrical equipment
Develop 2D drawings independently using AutoCAD, starting from scratch based on engineering inputs.
Develop 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit for electrical layouts and equipment arrangements.
Coordinate assigned engineering work with other project disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery.
Participate across the project lifecycle, with EPC experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases.
Prepare electrical equipment layouts in compliance with project specifications and standards.
Utilize AutoCAD efficiently to develop conceptual designs and complex deliverables within optimum time.
Apply knowledge of standard drawing practices, symbols, and nomenclature as per ISO and IEC standards.
Work effectively with X‑reference (X‑ref) drawing concepts.
Execute tasks independently after receipt of design inputs.
Communicate effectively with project teams, leads, and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting and detailing).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD-Revit for 3D electrical modeling.
Understanding of electrical layouts, equipment installation practices, and EPC workflows.
Familiarity with ISO / IEC standards related to electrical drawings and documentation.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred / Added Advantages
Experience working on CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Chemical projects.
Exposure to PDMS, AutoPLANT 3D, or similar 3D design tools.
Prior EPC project environment experience.
