Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience and a strong interest in AI-powered applications and Agentic Development. The ideal candidate will build intelligent, autonomous AI agents using modern LLM frameworks while leveraging strong Java backend development skills. You will work on designing scalable AI-driven systems, integrating large language models, and developing enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
- Build AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, and executing multi-step workflows.
- Integrate AI services using REST APIs and modern AI frameworks.
- Design agent orchestration, memory, tool usage, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and data scientists to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies.
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM APIs.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Knowledge of AI evaluation, observability, and guardrails.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to Python for AI workflows is a plus.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, or pgvector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience building enterprise AI assistants or copilots.
- Experience with multi-agent systems and workflow orchestration.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects.
- AI-related certifications.
