Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and organized Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records of the organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling invoices and payments, assisting with reconciliations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring timely and systematic accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate and timely entries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoices, payments, receipts, and outstanding follow-ups.
- Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Perform regular bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Maintain proper records of expenses, income, purchases, sales, and other financial transactions.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely collections and payments.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, colleges, institutions, and internal teams regarding billing, payments, and account-related queries.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting-related compliances and documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and financial reviews.
- Verify accounting entries and ensure supporting documents are properly maintained.
- Assist in preparing budgets, expense statements, cash-flow records, and other financial reports as required.
- Support the finance team during internal and statutory audits.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving reconciliation and transaction-related issues.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information and company records.
- Coordinate with management and other departments for smooth and efficient financial operations.
- Stay updated with applicable accounting practices, taxation requirements, and compliance procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial transactions.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and basic taxation.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, data management, and reporting.
- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger management, and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS preparation will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–3 Years of Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or a related field.
Freshers with a strong academic background in Commerce/Accounting, good knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel/Tally, and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Salary Range
- Freshers: ₹14,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on skills, qualifications, and interview performance.
- Experienced Candidates (1–3 Years): ₹22,000 – ₹26,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, skills, and overall suitability for the role.
