Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager with experience in architecture, civil engineering or residential construction.
You will manage home construction and improvement projects from start to finish, coordinate with homeowners, contractors and vendors, conduct regular site visits, and ensure work is completed on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
This is a field-based role that requires regular travel
Key Responsibilities
- Plan project timelines, milestones and site activities.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress.
- Check work against drawings, BOQs and specifications.
- Coordinate with homeowners, architects, contractors and vendors.
- Provide clear progress updates to homeowners.
- Identify delays, quality issues and execution risks.
- Track materials, manpower and project dependencies.
- Document scope changes and their impact on cost and timelines.
- Resolve project issues and follow up until closure.
- Prepare snag lists and manage final project handover.
- Manage multiple residential projects at the same time.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a construction-related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential construction, architecture, civil works, site management or project management.
- Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, BOQs and materials.
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors and site teams.
- Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Good planning, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for calls, photographs, documentation and project updates.
- Must own a two-wheeler.
- Valid driving licence required.
- Willing to travel regularly within Kochi.
Preferred Experience
Experience with architecture firms, residential construction companies, builders, contractors, developers or project management consultancies is preferred.
Candidates must have practical site experience. Applicants with only design experience and no construction-site exposure may not be suitable for this role.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
