Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, or Milling machines.
- Load raw materials and components into machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Set machine parameters and offsets as per production requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify machining defects and take corrective actions.
- Replace cutting tools and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Maintain production records and inspection reports.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Operator, Turner, or related trade.
- 1–5 years of experience in CNC machine operation in manufacturing industries.
- Basic understanding of G-code/M-code and CNC programming concepts.
- Knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
