You will be responsible for identifying global suppliers, mitigating geopolitical risks, and ensuring our supply chain meets 2026 sustainability and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Strategic Sourcing
- Global Vendor Selection: Identify and vet international suppliers for high-value EV components (Li-ion batteries, motors, BMS, and high-voltage harnesses).
- Market Analysis: Monitor global trends in raw materials (Lithium, Cobalt, Rare Earths) and utilize AI-driven forecasting to hedge against price volatility.

2. Procurement & Contract Management
- Negotiation: Conduct high-level negotiations for long-term supply agreements (LTSA) to secure volume and price stability.
- PO Lifecycle: Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the ERP system (SAP/Oracle), ensuring 100% accuracy in lead times and delivery schedules.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop "Plan B" regional supply chains to avoid bottlenecks caused by trade shocks or semiconductor shortages.
3. Quality & Sustainability (ESG)
- Supplier Audits: Coordinate with the Quality team to perform remote or on-site audits of international manufacturing facilities.
- Green Procurement: Ensure all international vendors comply with the company’s Scope 3 emissions targets and ethical sourcing certifications (e.g., OECD due diligence for minerals).
4. Data & Technology
- AI Integration: Use predictive analytics to manage inventory levels and automate routine re-ordering.
- KPI Tracking: Maintain dashboards for Cost Savings, Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Lead Time Reduction.
