Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Executive (Fresher) to join our government sales team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are eager to learn and build a career in sales, with a focus on working with government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and related agencies.
You will be trained to understand government procurement processes, assist in tendering activities, and support senior sales staff in developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying opportunities with government clients, including monitoring tender portals and GeM (Government e-Marketplace).
- Learn to understand public procurement processes and documentation.
- Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFQs under guidance.
- Maintain records of tenders, bid submissions, and client communication.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to ensure timely submission of documents.
- Assist in building and nurturing relationships with officials in government departments.
- Participate in meetings, exhibitions, and industry events as part of sales and networking efforts.
- Stay updated with basic knowledge of industry trends and government buying behaviour.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or any relevant field.
- Strong interest in government sales, public sector procurement, or B2G (Business-to-Government) domain.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn, travel, and work on field assignments as required.
- Proactive attitude, team player, and strong willingness to build a career in sales.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Internship experience or academic project related to government sales or public procurement.
- Awareness of GeM portal or tendering process will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required. (Two wheeler preferred )
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
