We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Professional to manage financial operations related to commodity trading, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting within an MCX trading environment. The role requires strong knowledge of commodity markets, accounting principles, risk management, and exchange regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions related to MCX commodity trading activities.
- Monitor client margins, pay-ins, pay-outs, and settlement obligations.
- Reconcile exchange, bank, and client accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensure accurate recording of commodity trading transactions.
Treasury & Fund Management
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements.
- Manage margin funding and collateral reporting.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund transfers and treasury activities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with MCX, SEBI, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor exposure limits, margin requirements, and financial risks.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for regulatory inspections.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and profitability analysis.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, dealing, compliance, and risk management teams.
- Respond to queries from auditors, regulators, and management.
- Support process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in commodity markets, stock broking, or financial services.
- Knowledge of MCX operations, commodity settlement processes, and regulatory requirements.
