We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to manage admissions for UG/PG Programs, Credit Transfer (CT), Online Degree, and other higher education programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, converting leads into admissions, handling follow-ups, and achieving monthly admission targets.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong sales and counselling abilities, and prior experience in the education/admissions industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and working professionals regarding UG/PG programs, Credit Transfer (CT), Online Degree, RPL, and related educational services.
- Explain course details, university options, eligibility, fee structures, and admission procedures clearly.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions through regular follow-ups and relationship management.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp follow-ups, emails, and student queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate student records, lead status, and admission updates in CRM or internal systems.
- Coordinate with documentation and operations teams for smooth admission processing.
- Guide students regarding required documents, payment procedures, and enrollment formalities.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets assigned by the management.
- Support junior counsellors and assist in improving team performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Ensure timely collection of fees and pending documents from enrolled candidates.
- Stay updated on university policies, admission criteria, and program updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma/ or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, or admissions.
- Experience in handling UG/PG admissions, Credit Transfer (CT), or distance/online education programs preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in Malayalam must be proficient & basic English preferred.
- Ability to achieve admission targets.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and basic MS Excel/ Office applications.
- Strong follow-up and student handling capability.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
