TEACH was established in 2016 as a non-profit organization. Our vision is to build an equitable ecosystem for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Our mission is to facilitate higher education for them that helps them lead their lives independently and successfully, and assisting them in their personal, professional, and social development.
We currently operate across three campuses in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, and our vibrant community comprises 400+ students. With extensive industry connections across 30+ employers and sustainability partner organizations, we follow a holistic outcome model. Our student programs cover the following three pillars: Higher education, Skills development, and Aptitude development.
Our programs for Corporates include Employee sensitization, Training sessions on Indian Sign Language (ISL) and interpretation, and Onboarding support.

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive – Placement & Corporate Vertical.
The role involves leading the end-to-end placement process, managing and expanding corporate partnerships, supporting student readiness, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The Sr. Executive is expected to take ownership of targets, mentor junior team members, and drive strategic placement activities for the institute.
Location-Mumbai
Travel requirements - Will have to travel within Mumbai and Outside Mumbai for exploring Placements opportunities for the students.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the full placement cycle, from sourcing opportunities to final onboarding of students.
Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners.
Identify new corporate leads and convert them into placement or internship opportunities.
Organize job fairs, campus drives, and engagement sessions with higher ownership and planning.
Provide detailed career guidance, resume development, interview coaching, and job-readiness support to students.
Ensure smooth onboarding and post-placement follow-up for high student and employer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed placement MIS, prepare reports, track targets, and ensure timely updates.
Act as a senior point of contact between students and employers, resolving concerns and ensuring smooth communication.
Collaborate closely with internal academic and training teams to align student skills with market needs.
Support and guide junior team members in day-to-day placement tasks and coordination.
Contribute to improving placement strategies, processes, and overall outcomes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any Subject.

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in HR, Placement or Corporate Vertical
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Good verbal communication skills in English (with correct grammar) and good written communication skills in English (with correct punctuation and grammar). Proficient in verbal communication in Hindi and / or Marathi.

Warm and friendly demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to build meaningful trustworthy relationships
