We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems and drawings as per project requirements and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications as per project requirements.
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable routing, and control systems.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, layouts, and other electrical drawings.
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and site teams.
- Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors whenever required.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of electrical design deliverables.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of engineering drawings.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and engineering standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of electrical load calculation, cable sizing, and equipment selection.
- Experience in preparing SLD, GA drawings, electrical layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
- Candidates with experience in Industrial / Construction / EPC Projects will be preferred.
Job Location: Surat, Gujarat
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
