Key Responsibilities: 1. Ayurvedic Production Management
- Oversee manufacturing of:
- Tablets, capsules, syrups
- Churna, Avaleh
- Medicated oils and herbal extracts
- Ensure processes follow classical Ayurvedic texts and formulations
2. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
- Ensure timely execution of batches
- Monitor Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) & Batch Packing Records (BPR)
3. Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- AYUSH guidelines
- Drugs & Cosmetics Act (India)
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit readiness
- Coordinate with QA/QC for testing and approvals
4. Team Management
- Supervise production staff, operators, and helpers
- Allocate duties and monitor performance
- Train employees on SOPs, hygiene, and safety
5. Process Improvement
- Optimize manufacturing processes
- Reduce wastage and improve yield
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
6. Inventory & Material Management
- Ensure availability of raw herbs, extracts, and packaging materials
- Coordinate with procurement and stores
- Monitor stock levels and minimize losses
7. Equipment & Maintenance
- Ensure proper operation of machines (granulation, mixing, filling, etc.)
- Plan preventive maintenance
- Minimize downtime
Qualifications:
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Life Sciences
- Additional certification in GMP or production management is a plus
Experience:
- 3–10 years in Ayurvedic / Herbal / Pharma manufacturing
- Experience in handling AYUSH-approved units preferred

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
