Production Engineer – Fabrication (Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers)
Experience: 3–6 Years
Industry: Stainless Steel & Exotic Metal Fabrication
Standards: ASME Code Knowledge Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage daily production activities to ensure timely execution
- Prepare and maintain project bar charts / production schedules
- Oversee machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Actively participate in production planning and scheduling
- Calculate and track project lead times
- Make decisions regarding manufacturing vs outsourcing processes
- Prioritize and manage work orders based on project requirements
- Conduct resource planning as per defined operational standards
- Maintain cost control of operations within budgeted limits
- Closely monitor and manage contractor performance
- Ensure labor costs remain within approved budgets
- Maximize utilization of machines, manpower, and utilities
- Promote strong team collaboration and coordination
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes (Section VIII, IX preferred)
- Experience in pressure vessel & heat exchanger fabrication
- Understanding of welding procedures (WPS/PQR)
- Good planning and analytical skills
- Cost control and resource optimization mindset
- Strong decision-making and leadership abilities
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
