About the Role
Simplex Engineering & Foundry Works Pvt. Ltd. Tedesara Unit III is looking for a detail-oriented and technical QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality standards across our manufacturing stages. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in incoming raw material inspection, in-process fabrication/machining testing, and final equipment certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Stage Quality Inspection: Perform detailed incoming raw material testing, in-process fabrication & machining checks, and final pre-dispatch inspections.
- Document & QAP Compliance: Comprehend, implement, and adhere to Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Technical Specifications (TS), and customer-approved inspection test plans.
- Drawing & Standard Verification: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, welding symbols, machining tolerances, and international standards/codes (ISO, ASME, IS, AWS).
- Testing & Calibration: Conduct and verify dimensional checks, mechanical testing, and handle calibrated measuring instruments.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify process defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), perform root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions (CA).
- Audits & Customer Witness: Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPIA) and customer representatives during witness stages and hold points.
Key Requirements
Education
B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering
Location - Tedesara NH 53
Experience
1 to 5 years in heavy engineering, foundry, fabrication, or machining industries
Domain Knowledge
Fabrication processes, structural welding, heavy machining operations
Technical Skills
Standard & Code reading (IS, ASME, ASTM), Drawing reading, QAP comprehension
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
