- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment and devices.
- Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for repairs, AMC/CMC management, and equipment servicing.
- Maintain records of equipment inventory, breakdown reports, maintenance schedules, and service documentation.
- Support clinical and technical teams in equipment handling and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with hospital quality standards, NABH guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime of critical medical devices.
- Assist in procurement, evaluation, and commissioning of new medical equipment.
- Provide basic user training to staff for safe and effective equipment usage.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of hospital medical equipment and devices.
Preferred Equipment Knowledge:
- Monitor, Ventilator, Defibrillator, Syringe Pump, Infusion Pump, OT Equipment, Cath Lab Equipment, Radiology Equipment, ICU Devices, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration, and quality standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
