Springfield Public School, Ambala is looking for a sincere, energetic, and child-friendly PRT – Primary Teacher for teaching primary classes as per CBSE standards. The candidate should have good subject knowledge, classroom management skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for young students.
The teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, classroom teaching, student assessment, maintaining records, parent communication, and contributing to the overall academic and personal development of students.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching primary classes as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Preparing lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
- Creating a positive, disciplined, and activity-based classroom environment.
- Conducting regular classwork, homework, revision, tests, and assessments.
- Maintaining student attendance, academic records, notebooks, and progress reports.
- Checking notebooks regularly and giving proper feedback to students.
- Supporting weak students through remedial teaching and individual attention.
- Encouraging spoken English, good manners, discipline, and confidence among students.
- Communicating with parents regarding student progress whenever required.
- Participating in school activities, assemblies, events, competitions, and celebrations.
- Maintaining classroom display boards and subject-related learning material.
- Following school rules, academic calendar, timetable, and reporting system.
- Using basic computer tools such as MS Word, Excel, Google Forms, and smart classroom tools wherever required.
Required Qualification
Essential:
- Graduation in any relevant subject.
- D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / B.Ed preferred.
- Good command over English and Hindi.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a CBSE school.
- Ability to teach multiple primary subjects.
- Knowledge of activity-based learning and child-friendly teaching methods.
- Female candidates may be preferred, but suitable male candidates may also apply.
