Position Title: English Teacher
Job Summary:
The English Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging English language and literature lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering critical thinking and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons as per the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Develop students' language proficiency, grammar, vocabulary, and literary appreciation.
- Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Lead and manage the English Department effectively.
- Develop, review, and implement curriculum plans.
- Ensure alignment with educational standards and school objectives.
- Monitor teaching quality and student performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of modern teaching strategies and assessment methods.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
Pay: ₹442,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per month
